Jon Burgess

Founder & Director

Jon is a thought leader in people advocacy and collaboration. His passion to help organisations gain and maintain their competitive advantage through a deeper approach to relationship building, led to the launch of Kwan. He is renowned for his development of The Three Minds™ advocacy model.

Jon works with organisations and executives, helping them develop a greater understanding of how to connect and collaborate, and remain relevant and top of mind. Prior to this, Jon had a successful career for more than 20 years in communications and sports management. Born in Bermuda, and raised and educated in East London, Israel, Africa and Australia, Jon enjoyed a brief professional football career with English Premier League club, West Ham, in their youth division, before moving back to Australia. His own journey is testament to the power of his core belief that everyone matters.

Sam has worked alongside Jon Burgess to position his business for growth. He has played a key role in repackaging and repositioning Kwan’s offer to be significantly more scalable for clients. This includes developing a new licensed offer for the business.

Sam’s work spans business strategy and planning, brand positioning and managing Kwan’s network of valued partners.

Experienced in big picture thinking and forging strategic partnerships, Sam also uncovers shared value and meaningful alignment to enhance commercial relationships. His approach brings to light the exceptional attributes and unique value propositions of each stakeholder to fully realise potential opportunities. In his decade of practice, Sam has partnered with leaders and organisations such as Qantas, Marriott International, PwC, Commonwealth Bank and Europcar.
